MTK flash menu problem

i have a new m28. i have downloaded all the new software and made sure my computer was up to date befor modding. i followed textbooks tuturial and am having problems at the mTK flash menu, well first. when i type samread and enter the xbox code and press enter it says directoy already exsists and brings up mtk flash and shows me my drives scanned and displayes 1.)extreme PRI master. and i know im looking for my sata card with via chipset.

any input on what might be wrong? i just installed the chip chard to.
maybe i have to enable it in my bios? i wasnt to sure because windows detected and installed it for me.

xtreme pri master is your usb stick most likely-and it always says directory already exist,ignore that! yeah just check your bios and make sure raid is disabled and sata is enabled. I flashed my ms28 about a month ago and it works perfect!

you wouldnt be able to tell me how to do that would you? is that in bios or would that be like device properties??

and by the way i have a sata raid controller card via vt 6421l. and iv looked through the manual it came with and im not seeing much, that i can tell any ways.

reboot pc and before windows loading bar appears hold down f1,that will put you into your bios,from there look for your sata controller and disable raid and enable sata,watch what you do in your bios any other changes can affect your pc, hope this helps.

great! thanks alot anhell28 your help got my xbox modded! it was so simple. but now i question about the firmware i loaded. does the firmware i put on there make the 360 drive reable to my computer in windows?

You have to use the 0800 disc to enable 0800 mode and get the drive visible in Windows.
