MU issue and Capacitor question.

I have two simple questions.

My Falcon glitches near perfect every time, within 1 to 2 flashes on the TX Coolrunner. Every once in a great while, the flashing will stop and I will have to reboot the console a time or two. Ubergeek suggested adding a 68nF cap on A & D (wasn't sure if he meant A & GND, D & GND, or just A & D) when I had dash freezes, I did not add those caps because I figured out it was the way my wires were routed through the coils. If I add these caps does anyone think it would help this from occurring?

Also, I had this same issue with my old JTAG and am having it with my RGH. I have my profile stored on a MU. More often than not I will have to remove and reinsert the MU to have my profile load. Does anyone know what causes this and if there is a fix for it?

I can live with the glitch issue and don't plan on adding caps until I have to disassemble the box again, but this MU problem is getting kind of annoying.

When I very first booted into xell, it would freeze after the controller init line. I figured out that it was my MU, removing it got me to where I could get my CPU key.

Regular booting is no problem though. Profiles are small enough, I would say just move it back to the HDD and see if that solves your issue. More of a workaround than a fix but hey...

I have never had a problem when the profile is on the HDD. It works, like you said but I have 4 XBOX'es in the house and move from box to box.

Just an annoyance.

It's all to do with wiring positions:

I did a Jasper 16MB tonight which stopped flashing, would freeze etc.

CPU_RST and CPU_PLL_BYPASS are sensitive to interference. It causes all kinds of problems. I routed the cable as per that image and it boots first time every time, no added caps needed. Also, no more freezing.
