done 3 phats and 3 slims now no real issues. Ive been using JTAG tool to do everything and then using mutilbuilder .37 to build a 14699 nand to overwrite my 130604 freeboot. Its worked flawless on the first 5 but this latest one says something like invalid characters in cpukey and something about the keyvault and then fails without building the nand?

When you get your CPU key in jtag tool then put it in multibuilder did you take out the CPU key: part out this will cause the specified error.

Also did you check in jtag tool or 360 flash dump that your CPU key decrypted your kv?

I have not checked to see if its decrypted and I was able to fix the invalid character error by naming the file correctly

will do, but if JTAG tool built the working 13604 wouldnt it be safe to assume the CPU key txt and dumped nand match?

I had that happen once in multibuiler. CPU key was correct in cpukey.txt. I deleted the cpukey.txt and made a new one and the issue went away.

It never hurts to double check. Open your CPU key text that is in multibuilder and make sure it's just numbers jtag tool adds CPU key text within the file.
and thats exactly what it was!! The file was named correctly but in the actual file was "CPU KEY:"

Ok another problem. Im using 360 multibuilder and Ive got my cpukey.txt in the data/my360 folder....yet it is still telling me that it is not there.... and then defaults to building a glitch/ecc image without it. What am I missing?

Little bit of a hijack you did but it is ong the same lines Obviously your text file cpukey is setup wrong. If you used JTAG Tool to read NAND and save cpukey then coolshrimp has his program saving the key as CPU key.txt and also has some characters and a colon before the actual key I'm the file. Remove all except the key and rename file to cpukey.txt
