After failing on MKM-003's, 8 in a row to be exact. I switched to the 001's and used these settings, worked well.

Is this acceptable? Obviously spike is right at point of layerbreak, only 1 spike though

Did this method work with BURN proof enabled or disabled ??? Ive see in another tutorial to disable it but im having the same problem with the 001 discs. Thanks

How did you burn at 4x? When I set it to burn at 4x in imgburn, it basically said no, you have to burn at 2.4x.

Does it have something to do with the fact that all I did was turn on OPC and not change anything in EEPROM?

you need to have overspeed turned on through eeprom

Thanks..... with the settings here i went from well bad to great results and only wasted 2 disks...:)

these settings seemed to have worked for me. couldn't get good burns steadily at 4x though. switched over to 2.4x and this is it:

i may have to investigate a bit more though. got 1 error and have never got an error before just out of guideline burns.

That's not even a complete scan. Sampling range should be 4267020. And the sampling count should be around 250000.

well that could explain it.... kprobe stopped again tonight at %10 scan too. im usually scanning while away from computer so never picked up on it.

well after trying to fix a blinking led ihas, i realized i had a semi converted ihas i was using in the process (424 crossflashed to 624 improperly. the blinking drive though seems to be pooched). seems i can burn within guidelines now although just barely.
