MY 2nd controller port is dead! Plz Help!

I have an X3 on a 1.0 box with avalaunch. Shortly after chipping the box, my 2nd controller port stop functioning. Everything looks good. Where and how much is a daughterboard? Would that likely fix it?

Have you tried plugging controller port 1 into the 2nd controller port on the daughter board just to make sure it's the daughterboard and not the port itself?

Actually I did the Opposite.

I took the 3-4 controller ports cable and connected that to where the 1-2 controller cable was plugged into the daughterboard. Still only controller 1 worked. I looked at the daughterboard and it Looks ok. Aghghhghgh Please help. If they are not expensive I'll just buy a new one.
