Thanks for the replies, I am definitely going to do it. But it could be a while before I start it as I'm finishing off both my Scorpion XBOX and my Millennium Falcon XBOX. :)

When these are done I will post photos in new posts. I will also post photos of my XBOX case when it's all finished and put together with the XBOX inside.

Here's a better design I did.

An extra DVD drive and HDD, a CLOCK that doesn't reset itself, and more.

Here it is in colour, done with photoshop. I really like the curved plexiglass sides where the X3 makes it glow blue.:D

What do you think?

Hey Freak, I like it.

Funky and totally original. What's gonna be under the Locked section though?
I wasn't real sure from your pics.

Under the locked section is gonna be the 12 digit security pad that is currently on the front of my standard xbox case, along with a load of other little switches the same as the x3's dip switches (but with 8 switches instead of 5), with these switches, you can have 8 switches in the space of a standard switch 'cos they are so tiny.
If anyone wants one let me know. I made a post about it with photos and details in"XBOX CUSTOMISATIONS" called "12-digit security pad like in The Transporter".

These switches will control the many leds' colours and any other features my xbox will have.
A sandwich maker function has been asked several times about my xbox, so if I could do that, it would AMAZE people :D. (Not sure how I would do that though: I think it would have to be a draw that slides out of the xbox so that your sandwich/toastie is warmed up from the heat inside.)

I WILL make the newest design, but I'll have to finish my Scorpion XBOX and Millennium Falcon first 'cos I need to get them on ebay ASAP 'cos of XENON coming out October. It should be started in June. I'm gonna get the perspex and aluminium soon.

Look at the scorpion XBOX one. That oone is great. I said it before, my photoshop skills are good. I have been taught how to use photoshop on my AVCE Art course at college. I didn't make this design to look like the real thing, IT IS A DESIGN. And I doubt that you are better. Also, this site is for talking about xbox mods and stuff, not flaming my good photoshop skills that I didnt use to the max in this design. Post useful things instead.

what kind of serious case modding have you done on anything before? Is this your first serious paint project and molding project or not? Have you ever used bondo or acrylic? Those are all important if you're going to tackle a project like that

I haven't used bondo, but I have some acrylic. I wanted to make it from the aluminium and perspex that they had at my college, unfortunately the art dept. doesn't get much so sadly they don't have any more aluminium or pespex :( I know I can do this project if I have the materials, but it looks like it's gonna cost more than I thought. I have made a good start on my millennium falcon xbox and the scorpion xbox is about 60% complete).

Also, thanks to you silentdarkfalcon for posting something relevant and useful, unlike some ppl who just post childish comments on my photoshop skills, when I wasn't even trying to show them off in this design. I'll give you some rep points for being helpful. :)

New design: much smaller than the standard XBOX because the DVD drive will be taken out. I don't use this much and after I have the last of the XBOX games on the hdd, I won't need it other than for adding custom soundtracks and backing-up dvd's. So the wires to connect the DVD-rom will be in a compartment at the back of this case, so in future I can just connect them to the DVD-Rom, whenever I want to use it.

I spent a bit longer on this design than the last ones just to please a few people who only like photographic photoshop designs. But as with the others, It is a design, so I am not going to spend 3 days on photoshop just to make it look more realistic and perfect.

Tell me what you think. The top will be perspex/plexiglass, and the sides and base will be aluminium.
