Thanks, unfortunately though I have since done several designs (at least 10) but mainly using the original xbox case as a structure, when It's done I'll post photos.

New design: much smaller than the standard XBOX because the DVD drive will be taken out. I don't use this much and after I have the last of the XBOX games on the hdd, I won't need it other than for adding custom soundtracks and backing-up dvd's. So the wires to connect the DVD-rom will be in a compartment at the back of this case, so in future I can just connect them to the DVD-Rom, whenever I want to use it.

I spent a bit longer on this design than the last ones just to please a few people who only like photographic photoshop designs. But as with the others, It is a design, so I am not going to spend 3 days on photoshop just to make it look more realistic and perfect.

Tell me what you think. The top will be perspex/plexiglass, and the sides and base will be aluminium.
man, thats just aweful, god my eyes are bleeding, make it stooooop!

theres no way on earth your gonna make that, youd get arrested first

Dudes, Back off the guy on the desgins and read what he is saying. He has told everyone that he is going to do more designs. I think that they are cool. So instead of slamming the guy, give some ideas to the post. Like on the sides, make the air holes say some thing like "X3 Rocks!" or "Xbox". Layout ideas are usefull as well. I know that they are at least for me. I also do not want to tell everyone what to do in this form, but I can not stand someone being slammed for the slammer being an moron!

Good luck freakzilla3333

Thanks man, and you have some good ideas, if you ever get into case modding I think you could design and make a really cool xbox case too.

I actually do all kinds of designs. I have also designed my own case.

Outside: I have I spinning and glowing Jewel, 4 USB ports, LED in game ports, Power button mod, LCD, Activity Leds (Hdd,LAN,DVD), Clear XCM case, Cold Cath. lights, UV lights, and a DVD see-though mod.

Inside: I have a 128MB Ram, 1.3 PIII M CPU, Water cooler with UV active water, Samsung SD-616, Maxtor 300GB HD, ATA-133 IDE cable, Modified Power supply, X2 Bios, and do NOT have a mod chip installed.

I was going for a "Aqua" theme wit the xbox. I have the spinning jewel acting as a radiator fan, giving me room to put the water cooler resivior. All the added items I added are UV sensitive. I also have the Cold Cath light on during the day and the UV at night. Looks really cool. I have Small lines of coolent running in the front with reflevtive fllakes so you can see the coolent moving. If I get some time I'll take pictures and post them.

All take care.

Wow ur xbox sounds really good. Did you buy it from FriendTech? (The company that upgrades xbox's with ram and processor and cool skins to make their "Dream-X" consoles).

Also I would like to know how to do the DVD Activity Led, haven't seen it in a tutorial before. And it's clever how you put in the water cooling system, there was one on xbox-scene that had to have the xbox opened up and partially the water cooling system was outside of the xbox, so for it to all fit inside must have taken some creativity.

If you can get some photos or videos that would be cool and you could have possibly the best functional and appearance xbox ever. Show off your modding skills.

The DVD was something I did when I was board. I also Upgraded the Ram and CPU my self. I go to DeVry so I have the access to the tools required to do that stuff. I also did the DVD thing there, I used a PIC chip to basicly say if there is data coming from the Laser bus to enable the LED. And for the Water cooler, what I have is obsolete now. There is a better method, it will run cooler. Right now It is the same as a passive HS. But what you want to do is go to a Radiator shop (like for your car). Tell them that you need 2 radiators that are thin, and a single pass, also make them the dementions of your vents on the side of the xbox. Some can make them, others can't. You'll have to look around. Then Connect them in series so the act as a double pass radiator. I made a small resivor that is about the same size of a 80mm fan. Save that for last because you might have to change the size for the water pump. The pump that im using is a windshild washer fulid pump that I got from an old car. The reason is its small and runs on 12V. There are two things that you have to be concerned about. One is the coolent lines for the pump, since they are small they might not get enough flow to cool the components. Also, there pumps can also me noisy and make electric noise. (I would recomend running a ground wire to your HD, DVD, and wrap on around your bus cables. This helps to remove the noise that could slow the xbox. Make you resivior with the remaning room in the xbox. BUT remember while doing all of this, you must leave some room for at least two fans to cool the radiator. And leave a path that can allow air flow into the case so the fan can blow it out. There are some slim fans that you can buy, (somewere, I'm not sure were yet). I would slip them inside were the space is between the Shild and the plastic case, A thight fit, but it will work. It is just all in thought for me but I think you can figure all of this out, I just gave you a BASIC layout to work with. There is still more, but they are basic water cooling setup.

What Im working on Now.
DVD Activity without a added micro controller.
Better, smaller, more efficient Water cooler.
More air flow.
More Time (Damn DeVry, you suck)!
Finish this thing.
Take pictures.

I think scorpions are cool yeah. And the Millennium Falcon is slowly making progress (I'm usually very busy so I only do my modding once in a while), so at the moment it's still in pieces, it should be done in a week or two though and I'll post photos in a new thread when it's done and PM you.
