im planning on spliceing into the + and - wires and installing a switch to kill the power and allow power to go through it. I dont know if it will work 100% but I go through a pair of batteries in 2 days and I only listen to it like 1 hour a day, but since there is no hold switch im thinking it turns on while in my backpack. Im just wondering if anyone has tried this before and if anyone could tell me what type of switch to use.
My Cd Player doesnt have a hold switch and I want to install one, i need help.

also, im installing a iPod hdd in it so I can put songs on it and run cds (its possible I have a friend that did it), i know how to make the smartboard for it
