my chip is off

i just got an xbox already fitted wiv x3 chip the chip light is red so i been told the chip is off how do i turn it back on

switch off your xbox and when you switch it on only tap the power button don't hold it

I am soon going to purchase the halo reach edition Xbox.
Just a noob here will it be hard to mod it.

maybe, cause for sure youll need to so the trace cuts and whatnot it will most likely be the newer drives.
