ANSWERED my cool runner

every time i connect my nand X to my cool runner the nand x turns off any one know what to do?

Are you plugging it in the right way? As in make sure the red wire hole is in line with the VCC pin?

sounds like its shorting out. Did you buy the cable or make it yourself? Plug it in when its off, make sure its in corretly(red goes to vcc, gnd to gnd etc). Then turn it on.

To be honest, you can't really connect a CoolRunner cable the wrong way without forcing it into the NAND-X.

Make sure the switch on your CoolRunner is set to PROG, connect it to your NAND-X and then connect your NAND-X to the USB cable attached to your computer.
