my customer runied his rgh, help needed

hey guys how are you, so i rgh a dude's xbox 3 days ago before the new multibulider came, then he asked how to update i posted him to a post that explains how

the dude was soo dump that he skipped all and updated the retail dash, :eek2: thought that either should work :biggrin: hahah funny dude, anyway he told me it was extracting and then gave him an error and the xbox was working fine, so double checked with him that xell works said ya, now, told him to follow the tutorial once again and he did and baam 2 or 3 red rings i guess, lool so what did he mess up with the retail dash, i read a post earlier about ldv level changing something like that

he will ship the xbox tommorow for me so i just wanna know what i should do once it comes

i was planning on plugging the nandx and flashing the freeboot of 13604 first

i have a feeling that the ldv value will have increased by 1 when you get the console dump the nand and check the ldv value against the ldv value of his original dump. If indeed it is that just increase the ldv value in settings and make a new glitched image

thx for the great reply, i guess this is what happened to as i was reading earlier some noobs came across it as well , anyway could you help me with the following, im using multibulider and jtag tools and nand healer , :biggrin: how do i compare my ldv's and how do i increase it by 1 if there is a post that explains this i will be greatfull didnt search to be honest

Sounds like the ldv increased by 1. Just do as xbox said ^

The way to be 100% sure is to boot to XeLL

Count the FFF's on lines 7 and 8. that's your new LDV.

Go into Multi_builder 0.7 and edit the options.ini.

enter your LDV into the ini file.

Build a new image based either on the current or a previous dump. Flash to the console and it should work.
