Thanks to the blizzard striking the jersey shore, I had time to finally install my nand-x. I wanted to have it ready for use immediately and connected at all times. I didn't see anyone showing their installs especially an external mount so I figured I'd share mine. Everything went smooth except db1f1 was lifted from a previous jtag so I had to solder to the alternate from the provided kit. Seeing as how I was going beneath the board anyway I used the alternate rol since I was using it before. Hopefully this helps anyone else who wanted the insurance of future flashes without cracking open their systems.

Im truly sorry to tell you this, but you can easily update, flash and dump with flash360..

no need for apologies, I know that already. I bought one after updating to the kinect dash and having e79 plague my 512 jasper. Flash360 became obsolete so I wanted a fail safe; flashing via parallel port for 5hrs is about as fun as watching water boil

You could just flash xell over ltp: and use that to flash the up date, takes 5 mins over ltp to flash xell.
