Hi
I would just like to say thinks to everybody here for all the help and support; my first install went great with no problems.

1. I installed the drivers for the Nand-X
2. I flashed my console to the newest dash 14719
3. Then programmed my CoolRunner out of the box with the Nand-X and J-Runner with newest patch files and Glitch Setting
4. Installed the QSB and Nand-X I also installed the slim post QSB
5. I hooked up the Nand-X to the coolrunner and QSB
6. Then Fallowed the J-runner tut thanks to AMIT and the authors of the tut
7. Then I reassembled my console and put a USB in with freestyle dash and booted

Also I keep the Nand-X connected to the coolrunner and motherboard to the end of the J-Runner tutorial after I installed the coolrunner and qsb’s I put the motherboard in the bottom case and left the DVD-Rom out

I didn’t know what was the best dash to use so I just used what was in the tut and Freestyle seems to be good if there is any better please let me know, also and tut on freestyle would be great to.

If I have done anything wrong please feel free to correct me, Thanks.

Also the boot time is 48sec from the time I turn the console on to the time I see the avatar, I don’t know if this is good or bad?

Try shortening the lenght on the CPU_RST to increase your boot time if you want better times - But otherwise if you're fine with it its working and all is well.

From your pictures it looks as if you did not try any of the other lengths on the slim_Post board on the backside. By trying each of those points you should be able toget that glitch time down much lower. Even better is to combine the low loss cable with the slim_post and you can get that time to within 2 cycles.

Thanks everyone, for some reason it's booting up faster now, I done the time test the first time I booted it but now it's booting in about 20-25 sec. also if I boot it with the eject button it goes to Xell if I boot with power button and usb stick in it goes to Freestyle if I boot with power button and no usb stick it boots like a normal xbox with no mod, is that how it's suppose to work?

Thanks

Yes Xell is Eject button, if you have USB with Freestyle dash on it plugged in, then power up it will go to FSD, but just the Xbox with no usb and turned on from the power button will go to NXE dash if you haven't changed it.

P.S, I like your little workstation area :p

looks messy as crap but wrap the blue wire around the fan shroud and keep it in place with electrical tape worked for me and leaving it at 50cm always got good boot times

instant to 5 secs or instant to 10secs
or you can use the POST QSB cut down the blue wire to 8cm and see which works for you theres different settings to choose from
