Ok, I installed the replacement pcb board for my locked slim 9504 dvd drive, I then flashed it to LT+ 1.92cfw using the new jungleflasher v1.87. I have the correct key injected and everything went smoothly....except when I hook it up to my 360 slim system, it won't eject....I hit the eject button, the green light blinks like it's ejecting, but it doesn't eject. This is the SECOND slim system I tried...the first one was exact identical drive (9504 slim), with the same exact issue (tray won't eject). Both systems were in excellent working condition prior to installing the pcb replacement board. I followed the tutorial on here to a TEE and everything was done correctly. WHAT AM I MISSING?? If anyone can help me, i would GREATLY appreciate it.

oh, and it won't eject hooked up to my ck3 pro either, but jungleflasher detects the drive & all, etc

and my system is on the latest 13599 dashboard
again, if anyone can help I would be very appreciative. thanks.

Wires are installed correctly (kinda hard to mess it up honestly as it's color labeled), ribbon cables are installed correctly and I removed the sticky foam thing on both drives, so that's not an issue.

Should I flash with a different firmware (maybe LTPlus-0225-v1.92u.bin)? ANybody else having this issue with a 9504 drive? I think it has to do with the custom firmware I'm using (LTPlus-0272-v1.92.bin)...maybe I need to use another one...I dunno...I'm just flabergasted.....everything was done correctly, so I don't understand why it's not working.

yes, I did use the solderless adapter board for power....I removed and inserted the wires several times to make sure they were all the way in. And I tried it on two different systems and two different dvd drives, with the same result....dvd tray doesn't eject. should I try to solder the wires directly to the pcb? Maybe the solderless adapter board is defective?

btw, thanks for the replies and for trying to help me out...I really appreciate it :)

also, I would like to note that the laser is getting power and is initializing because when I press eject again, I see the laser lights & moves, etc. So it's as if the system thinks the tray is ejecting and going back in to read a game disc, but the drive obviously is not. I know it can't be the wires on the dvd drive itself, because the odds of that happening on two different drives is very slim.

Yes you can solder direct to eliminate that possibility, or you could just test all the connections with a meter for continuity.
Once you elimiate all possibities you will have to contact your reseller.

Steveoo1, that worked!!! Can't believe it. So obviously that power adapter thingy that comes with the replacement board was either defective, or doesn't work with my 9504 drive correctly.

Sorry for not getting back sooner....been busy with "real life" things lately lol

My drive now ejects, accepts games and plays all of my backups perfectly.....couldn't be happier!! Thanks so much for all of your help! I really appreciate it!

I wonder if anyone has had a similar issue as mine? I haven't seen any similar posts on here with such problem....have you come across anyone or read of anyone having similar issue?
Anyways, thanks again!!
