sorry but how posting all that is gonna help him find out the problem?
Because it's a requirement when asking for help with backups.

Yes, the common sense thing to do is to try the original.

All ABGX logs etc are all good (except verifying the disc later on ofcourse..) I forgot to save the log, reverifying in a moment.

The thing is that after he played it, and it crashes, it wont work on my xbox anymore either.. If I play the games it's fine though (without lending him it), but as soon as he uses it, it tends to crash after awhile and permanently damage the disc

Original runs fine on mine (not going to give him it incase it breaks aswell lmao)

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but does passing off a backup copy of a game to someone who doesn't own the original constitute as piracy? That's a fine line to walk on, if I were you in this situation, since he's just borrowing it, loan him the original since the backups are obviously a problem.
I agree with you on this one

then is your friends xbox laser is messing the games. probably hes laser is burning the disc don't lent him your original.

ps i don't think is piracy because hes not selling anything and is just borrowing he will get the game back so i believe to be piracy you have to sell a copy.

You should read about piracy.

It makes no difference if the backup disc is loaned or sold - if a person doesn't own a physical retail copy of a game, they are committing piracy.

I also lend him my orig, no issues yet..

@Martin, I don't have XBC logs as I don't rip them myself, but if you want I can show you my games (cases with discs) and a note saying aekramer?

EDIT: @BL4K3Y, so does that mean that loaning the actual disc (no backup) is also piracy?

There's your problem.

Your media or writer is the issue.

Yes, but the burn logs show no issue it all, could it infact be that his laser is damaging the disc? Or could it be another part inside the dvd drive thats causing this?

This is why we verify discs - the burn process is just burning the data. It's a blind write. Unless there was a major issue, it wouldn't fail at this stage. The verify checks what was written against the image.

I see nothing wrong with it (like usual), probably starts acting up again after it's in the console..
Anyway if it goes bad again I will post the new verification log (same disc)
