hello, after flashing my hitachi 78 with the new lt+2.0, i have tried ninja gaiden 2 and it has worked just fine, but when i try to run a backup of batman arkhan city, the hitachi dvd-rom just die, i heard the unit trying to read the disc, and after that the unit has open and now, the tray remains always open.

i have returned the drive to stock firmware and i have flashed the dvd again, but still the same, with the stock and the flashed firmware the tray is always open.

can somebody help me to fix this ? or my xbox just die?

thanks in advance for all the help.

it will open when i power on the xbox 360, if i put a disc in it and i will close the tray, when it close it will open again, it will not remain close.

it's weird because when i try to power down the unit, the tray close and just before the power is going down the tray will be open again and remains open.

i have send the mode b with jungleflasher, then power down the computer and then the xbox 360, restore the wires, turn on the xbox 360 and still the same.

the drive is not getting close, always tray open, seems like the controller of the drive is thinking that open is close and close is open, i thnik that because when the tray is open the yellow light is in normal state but when i try to close the tray for the 2 or 3 seconds the yellow light is flashing, (that state when the xbox was normal happend when the tray is open)

any ideas on how to solve this ?

Molex tower
Spoofing tons liteon is a no go in afraid, new Hitachi drive PCB, or a complete drive.
