here is my xbox that i have been leaving for so long, i finaly finished it today (not completly finished)..

it has an x3 with x3lcd and a crystal pro switch... it also has a hdd activity meter on the front (bottom right)... and a speaker on top so that it makse a sound like homer simpson burping every time you turn it on..

it has black mesh covering the sides as this was requested many times when i posted previous pics on this forum..

sorry about the crappy quality pics they are a mix between webcam and cheap digital camera from ebay... i'll try to get better ones if i can...

Its on the front of the xbox (bottom right corner) and all i did was cut a hole and glue it in...

My xbox does have an X3LCD in it!,

it is in the top in front of the jewel... it just isnt lit up in the pics cos i am having some eeprom problems and i am only running a patched x2 4981 bios to get it to work

One thing I like about this Xbox, is the way you've removed the paint from the logo's on the box, giving a real good finish ;)

Very good and original work. The black and white look great as a theme because of their sharp contrast and the patterns are cool. I like the green led theme too. :)

Thanks. :)

But if there was a contest for the most original xbox case mod (excluding the millennium falcon cos thats not an oficial xbox case) I say your's would come in second place to the Scorpion, very close. We have the 2 most creative case mods. :D

Wouldn't it be great if you could have photos as good as the real thing. I mean, my photos make my scorpion xbox look 50% less clear than in reality. I'm beginning to want to keep my scorpion xbox now. :)

lol, thanks :D. I'm gonna look for a better camera so i can take some proper pics (the pics i have posted so far were taken with a webcam, lol)

i recon you should keep it, i mean you can sell all your other modded xboxes but u wanna keep the best one, its up to you... i'm keeping this case now as i just realized that it is the case of the first xbox i ever bought (amazing seeing as i've had about 12 since then) so its special.

good luck with your falcon box ;), i tried to do something ike that but it was almost imposible to fit all the stuff inside the case, i dunno if i had a different model which was smaller or something...

cheers :D

The millennium falcon: I was leaving it untill i finished my scorpion XBOX. Now I have had another couple of days doing it, but yep, the hardest thing is the layout, mainly making all the supports for inside, and especially the support for the dvd rom, as it has to go over the motherboard. I did thibnk of an easier way to have more space,: put the mobo upside down, with the heatsinks poking through the floor of the falcon, but there are so many complications to everything in terms of layout and safety with the falcon. It's not hard at all in terms of the case, all you do is hollow the thing out as much as possible. I have a pile of plastic still of all the plastic i dremelled out of it. Will post photos later.

The secret with modding the Millenium Falcon, is to make sure you get the 1.6 version of it. It's compatible will all previous Xbox versions...

j/k ;)

i dunno, cos he bought it of ebay as a working xbox and when we opened it we found that on the bottom, it doesnt seem to enhance the xbox, it definatly isnt chipped from what i can see

i wonder what it does, could it be overriding the eeprom or replacing the TSOP or something...

wierd :)

That's one of the first incarnations of modchip - the 29-wire mod.

Before the Debug LPC was used, the only way to chip your Xbox was by this method.

It's still used to repair bad TSOPs on 1.0-1.5 Xboxes.
