My new project is going to be hardwiring the DVD dongle. WOW! Everyones done this right?? Not this way. I havent seen anyone do it like this. First I have done the power/eject mod (reversing them, big is power small is eject) I have also moved the power button (formerly eject) to the top of my case. My box is orange/white the x is orange the vents are white. In the front right corner, where a hard drive window would be, I have a white biohazard symbol the power button is in the middle of the biohazard symbol. Anyway back to the point. I originally filled in the hole in the front panel. Well I thought I would hardwire my DVD dongle, then it hit me. It would be cool to mount the IR reciever behind the hole where the power button used to be. So I took my other front clip, and bought a new light diffuser. I removed the plastic lens from the original MS DVD dongle and sanded it down. I had to sand out the light diffuser a lil bit to fit the lens, because it is a lil bigger than the eject button. Ok enough blabbing, I know yall like pics so here they are:

The IR reciever will be mounted behind this little setup. Let me know what u think. I will also be getting pics up of the rest of my box soon. The plan for this is to make it look like the reciever is meant to be built in.
