Keep in mind a work in progress. Eventually I will have the Lexan CNC'ed.

I'm sorry if I posted in wrong place but I didn't know where I should put it. Mods please move if needed.

I put it together in about a week. But only worked on it a few hours a day brainstorming and building. I built it last year to be honest but have been too busy to change out the glass with cnc cut glass. Also planned on changing the layout a little but as long as I can use it as is I probably won't finish it anytime soon unless someone offers to buy it then I would have motive to work on it. I originally built it to bring with me on offshore oil rigs because sometimes we are waiting on the rig for a few days before we can perform our job. If you know anyone in the industry they probably know the saying "hurry up and wait" because the customer typically wants you on locatiob yesterday business uyhmmm t

Ill take pictures later. This one is my personal Xbox so I use it as an experimental piece. I try things on it just to see how it works out and everything is hand cut with a dremel so cuts are rough. I don't want to put too much funds into making a test piece "shine" so excuse the unrefined look but if I had a customer order one the build quality would be much greater.

I could use a little input though. I want to maintain the water tight seal of the case so I don't want to put screws through it. I bought the $30/tube industrial adhesive recommended by pelican and I have a few ideas for making mounting brackets to install in the case but if anyone has some suggestions for easy to find materials that can be adhered to pelican's polymer blend I would appreciate it.

Also does anyone know where I could get some type of antiglare film I could put on the plexi glass that is protecting the screen? I was thinking of cutting out the glass to expose the screen and get rid of the glare but if I can maintain that level of protection and get rid of the glare I would rather take that route.

very good Idea to build up something like this
I would also try installing ps3 slim system into this case
BTW what are the dimensions of this case.just curious
I can't remember exactly but internally it's around 14x19 I think but I did my research and it's the best size, out of what they offer, for what I wanted to do. Also I think it's the only case that will fit a screen over 19" that is not too thick. I put a 20" led and I think that's as big as you can go with this case.

That case looks damn tough! I like the fact that it holds your controller, etc too.

To be honest a 20" screen is more than big enough as I would imagine you don't have a massive cabin/room anyways....

Very jealous!

You should see if you can secure the DVD drive magnet to the plexiglass/Lexan you're using instead of leaving that black bar across the disc. I've seen it done before but you have to be spot-on with the alignment and distances, although the end result aesthetically is amazing. Either way, looking very nice so far, may I assume that's the Slim power brick in the back right of the case?

Yes that's the Xbox psu in the top right corner plus the monitor psu and a surge protector.

That was my original plan for the DVD drive but I'm gonna wait till it's finished bc I am changing the plexiglass on the final build.

I currently dont have a power or eject button yet. is there another way to boot xell? I tried xell launch and used xell-gggg renamed to xell but it wouldn't boot.

Check the advanced XeBuild options in J-Runner, I think there's still an option to boot Xell via a wired controller guide button..
