Added to Phat guides. Hope it helps and thanks to Westbox and the others who tested this.

UPDATE: It has been reported that some consoles have trouble booting or boot fine but freeze frequently. One of our members, Westbox found that if he routed the wires a little differently on the back of his board he get perfect boots every time with no freezing. Here is his diagram:

tried it this way and i still get freezing at dash haven't tried a game yet on it but it does boot on first glitch attempt just freezes a lot will try try the alt and main point on the green wire per SexDrugsOverclocking and see if that works better these BB jaspers seem to be a tad flaky

If you have a bb jasper then install the 68nF cap !

i have the cap installed

I did my Jasper 16mb the other night, Would only glitch very intermittently maybe 2 in 40.
I fitted a Monores Cap 6800pF (not the correct one I know) and it glitched in 5 seconds every time. Good I thought I'll hot glue down my cables, Which I did then screwed the mob back onto the case, Tested it and it wouldn't glitch, Fans just span up and down
unscrewed mob check wiring, Couldn't find a fault.
Re-flashed my nand back to stock and now I got rlod  Only thing I can think of is when I screwed the board back to the bottom of the casing it must have pulled the gpu solder points off the contact mob points, So I'm going to remove x-clamps and put bolts in and overheat the GPU:rolleyes: Bloody typical I was on a high for a couple of minuets :rolleyes2: Got a slim which I was going to use as main glitch anywho:tongue:

Do a real reflow if you can, don't just overheat the GPU it does more damage than good, also check your washer height, I've found you can have too much pressure on the CPU and GPU or not enough

Thanks Mickey3177, But I'm not paying for a reflow, I'm not that bothered tbh, Like I said it's only my old jasper which I was prob going to sell on as they are pretty old school looking now compared to my slim, Which I'll be glitching later this week when I get my opening tool .

@diaboliq20, Yup even got the cpu key, You can't really rule out that something didn't move screwing back the mob as it was fine prior to that ? The cap couldn't have done it because its the wrong type could it ? that's the only two things I can think of, Unless the hot glue did something to one of the components, Which I don't think it would as I made sure no to glue near anything.

I had the same problem with my jasper 512 BB. The motherboard would glitch fine as long as it sat in the motherboard tray not screwed down with the short case parimeter screws. As soon as I put the case back together with those screws, it wouldnt glitch at all. So I ended up just putting in the long screws only that hold the dvd drive and the case together and it works fine. I will later try to see which screws along the outside causes this and post. Man, I'm glad that I'm not the only person that this has happened to! The screws might be changing the ground somehow that effects the coolrunner on these BB Jaspers. Just a guess.... however I'd say give it a shot without the screws.

**Update** mmm strange I've just de-soldered my wires\qsbs and the xbox is booting fine no rlod, Tested wires prior to removing on meter and they were all fine:confused: going to try again with direct wire connection.
