So, just wanted to say I've already done 2 slims before flawlessly. But this phat is just a bitch sadly :(

Yes, my iPhone 4 camera blows. But I helped y'all by putting arrows :)

So, the 2 arrows indicate which pads were lifted. The underline indicates the resistor that's is lifted... I don't wanna explain the story but all I have to say is I hate phats.

So what do I do? I saw alt points but that was if the right pad wasn't lifted...

to the right of where the resistor was do you still have any trace left??
it looks like you have but better to ask

Yes I do and one thing I did was I got an extra resistor from an old xenon dead board and just finished soldering it... Well, I soldered one end to the solder pad on the right of the lifted one, then i soldered a wire from the other resistor side to the trace. Will post back and see what happens

You have to make sure your resistor is around 33ohms
If its damaged your console will not power on period
That is the spot that most people tend to screw up but its very easy to repair
just solder one end to the pad thats left
scrape the trace solder a wire from trace to other end of resistor
make sure it powers
then solder a wire on either side of the wire I recommend the part your scrap cause that resistors a pain

So wait... I don't need a resistor? I can just bridge the point on the right to the left?...

i tried that earlier and it didn't work

yes it can be done with no resistor but if it is any good for the console is another thing????

The left pad ISNT part of the trace, I believe it to be a ground pad ?

The's left hand side of resistor to VIA only. The stby_clk point under the wire is dead.

Then solder Point B to FT2R2 or whatever it is.

That's wont work bc my left pad of the resistor is lifted.
yes buddy i know i just ment if you could solder it up to look somthing like that with the resistor on the right pad and the wire soldered to the left side of the resistor then to the trace or if that is to much try a thru hole resistor from the pad to the trace and hot gule it down as it is more of a risk ripping you trace using a thruhole part

Well, I think the board is totally dead. Those 2 pads weren't the only ones... I lifted the one (I think it's called CPU_BYPASS) and had to redirect it to under the CPU. Well, I finally decided to put hot glue on it and the traceripped up so I resoldered it on a little trace of what was left, put hot glue and same thing happened. If that's gone everything's done bc that trace is under the CPU.

f**k what a waste of $67...

I honestly blame my solder tip. It used to be a point, not it's a flat circle (as if I smashed it against a wall and flattened it).

Guess I'll buy another board and re-try except use the QSBs and a buy a new tip.

Anyone want a maybe repairable jasper 16mb? I managed to get CPU key and nand dump. lol

The left pad doesnt need repaired FYI;

MAke sure if repairing cpu_pll_bypass you solder to the resistor and rejoin it to the top side VIA under the CPU heatsink.

Oh just re-read it.

TBH, your soldering ability didnt seem of a high enough standard to be doing trace repair.
