hi there,
I have been out since long from Xbox 360 Development, last time I have updated my RGH in 2016 with v2.0.17489 is was working fine till few days back, one day my son and his friends were playing Xbox 360 they got a message to take out the DVD and clean it. They did the same but the game did not run, they turned off the console. After few days when my son was trying to turn the console on, it is not booting now. Don't know what happened to it? It is not booting into xell, nothing on the screen, green light in the middle is turning on but the green circle is not turning on, none of the remote is connecting to the console.

I have all the working files with me:
1. Working Nand of v2.0.17489
2. CPU key
3. DVD key
4. Dummy.bin
5. Identify.bin
6. Inquiry.bin
7. Key.bin
8. Lite-OFW.bin
9. Serial.bin
10. STOCK NAND AS WELL

but since it is not booting even into xell, I am unable to flash the Working Nand of v2.0.17489. Now please help me revive my Trinity to life. I don't have any hardware apart from the one which is already installed in the console by the professional at the time of RGH. I AM A TOTAL NOOB. SOMEHOW I USED TO UPDATE DASHBOARD OF MY TRINITY TO PLAY NEW GAMES.

Is it possible to flash Working Nand of v2.0.17489 without using any hardware? If yes please let me know the method so that I can revive my Trinity to life.

I HAVE ALREADY TRIED BLANK LAUNCH.INI METHOD, IT IS NOT WORKING.

Not sure what has happened to it, but as always with RGH issues, it is best to flash back to stock and make sure the console actually boots up. If so, then it's just a configuration or tuning issue.

Unfortunately you will need a hardware programmer to flash the nand back. If you can open the console up and take some pictures of your setup, we can try and help you out. Otherwise, you may want to get with the person who did the RGH install, or someone who is familiar with it to help you out.

I have the stock Nand but it is of old Dashboard, I am even not sure of its version. Secondly what hardware I would need to flash the stock Nand?

Last but not the least is it safe to flash stock nand means a nand which is not freeboot?

In order to read/write the nand, you would have to use a programmer such as the nand-x or jr-programmer v2.

Before you write anything to the nand, be sure you do a new dump of the existing nand.

Flashing the stock nand back means that you would write back the information that was on the console before it was modded, then disable the mod chips to see if the console still powers on. If it doesn't it will give you a RROD, and you can get the secondary error code to trouble shoot it.

If this is all over your head, you can always send it to a pro such as @nofeloniesyet or @playingmax if they are willing to take it on (or someone in your region since I see your are located in India.)

I am even trying to find Nand-x with QSB so that I can do these things by myself. I know I can do this I only need some time to read and understand this and required hardwares. Coolrunner must be there, inside the console but not sure about the Nand-x QSB, the professional how done the RGH might have removed the QSB after RGH, so I need QSB for Nand-x and Nand-x RGH edition itself.

You don't NEED the qsbs. You can easily solder wire directly to the points. The only exception to this (in my opinion) is a 4gb corona in which case you should use the 4gb read/write kit.

outside of that, it's really easy.

If you open up the console and share some pictures we can give you better advice if you wish to proceed on your own with this.

.... and no I do not know anyone in India....

nand-x are discontinued. ull have a better chance of finding a jr programmer.

No, mine is trinity 4gb, I am very much sure about my motherboard as I myself have updated my dashboard for 4-5 times. Nand-x is discontinued then I will have to look for jr-Programmer and qsb. The only thing I am worried about ............................................ I hope my son didn't update my dashboard using Game DVD, if this is the case it would be dead end for me, right?

Can you help me in listing the games which require updated dashboard, mine is v2.0.17489 so if you can please list the games which require v2.0.17502 and v2.0.17526, these are the two version released after v2.0.17489, so that I can see if I have any game which require any of these two updated dashboard. If I don't have any game which require any of these updated dashbaord means chances are nill of my son updating my dashboard using any game DVD.

Would it be a dead end for me if my son might have updated my dashboard using game DVD or I still have chance to revive my Xbox 360 Trinity, as 360 is discontinued and I don't want to purchase second hand console now. Moreover I can't afford costly games of Xbox one as it is not hacked till now as far as I know.
I just checked, I have only nanddump2, would I require nanddump1 as well?

OR nanddump2 is sufficient enough?

I had to visit Delhi which is some 800kms away from my place to purchase games for Xbox 360. I used to go to Delhi every 6 months or a year earlier, but from last two or two and a half year I have hardly visited Delhi so not sure about new games released after 17489. I usually take backup of my working freeboot nand at the time of dashboard updating. And I have a working nand of 17489 so this should be the last working freeboot nand which must be there in the console.

Leave everything apart you, please answer....................... is nanddump2.bin is enough to flash stock nand or I would require nanddump1 as well, as I don't have nanddump1 with me. I was searching stock nand in my hdd and it went dead just today, one hour back, so getting nanddump1 is now impossible as my hdd went dead.

I know I am troubling you too much, but I am from a small city and there is no professional at all, who can fix my xbox 360, and I have no hardware with me. Secondly, also tell me, if my son might have updated the dashboard to the newer version is it a dead end for me or my Xbox can still be revived?

I found a professional and he read the nand from my console but when he compared to my stock nand j-Runner says both nands are different.
Even the CPU key is also wrong, but I am sure I have updated my dash using the same CPU key. How is it possible?
The difference between both the nands are as follows:
Initializing nanddump2.bin..
Trinity
RGH2 Selected
Nand Initialization Finished

Now please help me understand, if dashboard of both the nands are different will it show such difference or it will match?

I am really wondering, how is this possible, I had updated my Dashboard using the CPU key which I had given to the professional but he was saying the CPU key is wrong? I have also told him to compare the dumpnand (which he dumped today) with the one which was there in the console earlier and worked well for months but those two nands also didn't match, Is something is very serious with my Xbox?

BTW, Can I get the key from bin file, I have key.bin as well?

Forgot to mention, he also tried to change cool-runner and according to him cool runner is working fine. There is no QSB inside the console, professional directly soldering the points and do not use QSB. I managed to take pics of my console this is how my console looks from inside.

Personally I would expect alot of differences between the stock nand, and the glitch nand. Infact they could be completly different kernels, and the smc will be different, and then there is the addition of xell. So, to expect them to be the same past the first 2 or 3 blocks would be stupidity. That being said, did they see if the console would boot the stock nand you have? if so, start the nand creation process over, and try again. as for the disc drive, there is a chance it needs a new laser assembly, which would cause the original issue of not being able to play games from disc. As for a disc update being applied, it is possible if you didnt set up the correct patches in dashlaunch, that changes where the system looks for updates on disc or usb. Even then, unless you make a choice to update, it wont. The game might not play, but you would have known the moment the console rebooted. My console was having issues the last time I turned it on, turned out to be that it got bumped, and the ribbon to my demon chip moved. Weirdly, I found if I disconnected that ribbon, the glitch nand booted instantly, where the stock nand wouldnt boot at all, but if I plugged it back in, the console was more likely to boot in 3 or 4 glitch cycles. lol. Not sure exacly why that is, but I dont really care about the extra 15 seconds or so. lol.
