I posted this on xbox-scene and I'm not getting any feedback so I thought I would see what you guys think. Let me know.

X3
X3 Pro switch
LCD
Modified Samsung SD-616T
200 gig WD hard drive
Silverstone case

The eye for the dvd dongle is where the eject button on the dvd was. The top led in the middle is blue for hdd activityand red for lan activity. The contoller ports are wired up to those usb ports.

Here's the back panel I had frontpanelexpress make me.

Inside of the back panel.

Inside. My X3 is stuck on the side of the drive cage there. It has an Apache so I could use the atx psu that came with the case. There is a SilverX from bestplayer in there too, so I can power on and off by remote.

There are some more pics in my gallery if yu want to check it out.

All I have to say is, "Wow!" That is slllllick! l33t, even. ;) I absolutely love how you replaced the ports with USBs. That was originally on my to-do list for my XBox, but I got too busy. I bet it looks right at home in your entertainment center, eh? Great job... on a job well done... right... I think you get my point. :)

Xecuter might want to pay a little attention here...

Thanks guys...I really appreciate it.

kimosabe...the lcd is a crystalfontz. The thing is huge though, I doubt if you could get it to fit in a regular xbox case. Here is a link though if you want to check it out.

They have smaller ones too. I think just about any of their standard lcd modules should work with an x3. Just not plug-n-play like the xlcd. I'm not sure about the ones larger than 20x4 though, and the serial ones won't work for sure.

Then if youd on't mind saying, what did you do to get hat LCD plugged up? Post some pictures of you rigged the connector yourself. I'm interested in putting my box in an AlienWare case. The LCD mod will do the trick.

Thanks man

I had an xlcd here that wasn't getting used. I just took the cable from it, cut off the lcd end, and soldered the wires on that crystalfontz.

It might be a few days before I can get some more pics. I had to borrow a camera from a friend. I need to borrow it again to get some more pics anyhow though. The guys on xbox-scene are accusing me of photoshopping it.

Good job but how hot does that thing run?
I experimented with the direction of the fans and got the temps for the cpu down to about 45c at idle, and it gets up to about 48 or 49c after playing a game for a couple hours.

It's a little board bestplayer.de makes for their xbox case. It's basically an easier way to hook up the power and eject switches and the dvd dongle internally. The board from the dongle solders on to it. It also gives you usb ports.

great case, when someone comes out with something as neat and different as your case someone always have to say something negative about it.
