My xBox is keeping freezing

From first day my xBox is keeping freezing:when downloading games/playing games/at boot-up/inserting disk(i can`t do anything..but i can hear sound)...is just randomly freezing and this sucks..
I have google and i saw sh*tty fixes:i have tryed all of them but nothing.
Overheating? I don`t think so...

I am using an usb stick as hard drive...I had installed a game on it and works like a charm so i don`t think that this is problem...
Please help me

I don`t know if someone can look at it because I live in Romania...I just wondering if this is a known problem or if there is a fix for it...

I have done the X-Clamp fix...maybe there is too much presure on chips...idk...the game which it`s working is not that graphically intensive.. so it isn`t producing too much heat

If it's freezing all the time, it's likely because your gpu or CPU connections have gone bad. I would ask around for someone to service it with a reball or good reflow, check locally for computer repair shops and such, or ask someone here.

hmmm...I think that I solved something...I tight screws better and now my xbox isn`t freezing in menu after 5 seconds...I`ll buy a multimeter today and do the pot tweak to see if I can solve freezing in games too.

If your box is freezing and u haven't modified it with r-jtag or Rgh, then it's most likely your CPU or GPU is failing, as has already been mentioned. No amount of screw tightening is going to solve that. U need to get it to a professional reflow/reballer. What manufacturing date is it?

It is 2008-11-08...I think Maxell`s are fu**ed up,I`ll go ahead and buy some Singapore Verbatims...yesterday,before tighting screws my console has been freezing every minute but now is working like a charm...I`ve done pot tweak from 5,14 to 4,70...but nothing...I incresed it to 5,71...same...

Do your original game discs work? This is not a DVD laser issue. Decreasing and then increasing the pot value is not going to change things. It's most likely and CPU GPU issue and needs a reball. Good luck.

I have only 2 originals: Diablo III:scratched like hell and always freezes in a certain point and Gears of War 3 which is also scratched(my friends have done this -_-) is freezing at a cinematic...
Update:I`ve got some verbatim and also same f**king thing:unreadeable disc/unrecognized disc/black screen after cinematics...I`ll make a video how my laser is damn f**** idling -_-

I have only 2 games that I bought(bought by me) but much much more from my friends
Update:lowered rezistence to ~4 (I don`t know exactly...i didnt measured because I turned it a little bit to left from 4.11) and now verbatim work,wow works but diablo still dont...maybe disc is too f**ked up
