Theses are some pics I took of the work I've done on my xbox. Pic quality isn't that great since I don't have a digicam. The pics were all taken with my webcam.

As you can see here the only change visible to the eye is the jewel being clear.

Again a close up on the clear jewel instead of the green spray painted jewel.

The jewel removed and a view of the ATA166 Cable instead of the default ATA33 cable.

The xbox turned on with the eject power button LED changed to blue instead of the default green.

And finally a close up on the jewel lit up with neon blue lights. Also the xbox lettering color changed from the default chrome to black.

it's cool but it doesn't really look like you did much to ur xbox. you just added a halo light and a power light, cleared the jewel and put sum paint in the jewel letters.

I also changed the hard drive and DVD cable from the ATA33 to the ATA166 and also I did the 12v fan mod. I plan on chipping it around January 10th with Xecuter 3 and also adding the pro switch.

What does a yellow IDE cable have to do with LLama
The ATA166 cables that llamma provide are yellow, and I dont know of any other online store that sells yellow ATA166 cables made just for the xbox, so thats why he associated the yellow IDE cable with llamma

I recently got my Xecuter 3 CE modchip in the mail from System-Mods. I was finally successful installing the chip via wire install method, after I got pissed off trying the pin header install method. Well now it works and I have some pics of my pro switch, which I also purchased, in action:

ModChip Disabled

ModChip Enabled

That's on xbox-scene.com, nothing new. I did this before and the letters change from silver to black when the light is on, you dont need to paint them.
The blue cold cathode eventually failed, (must have been faulty), so I fitted two sets of LED's and a chrome sub-mini toggle switch neatly at the back of my XBOX hidden in the grill.
This method means you don't have to have an inverter stuck to your XBOX. It isn't too bright either and you can change the colour with the switch. Although it is 44 solder points.:D

Here are the photos:

Tell me what you think.

I said the XBOX letters were black, not the lighting.

Looks good, but it would look better with more LEDs.

looks cool, but you should have gotten another blue cold cathode light. The cathode lights look 10 times better.
