My Xbox 1.6 have the Flashbios 3.01 do i really need to update to 3.03? So what should i do now.. d/l an Slayer Evox?
i really need help thanks

No, what you really need is the X3 1959 BIOS (from the usual places). THEN you might want to consider Slayers Evox install as the kitchen sink of dashboards, and apps that you might need.

Stickies are there for a reason - but DON'T think that you need to install the Evox M8 BIOS to run Evox - completely independant items that seem to get blurred in many of the Evox install tuts.

there is a flashbios tutorial on the main page of teamxecuter. from flashbios you can flash numerous ways like http, ftp, cd, etc. if you read that then it might answer a lot of your questions.

try a dvd-r might have better luck.

If you can attach the Xbox to a LAN, that provides the easiest way to flash the bios. trying to find a combination of cdr/dvdr media and burnrates and xbox dvd drives.

If your drive is a thomson, use a sony 650mb 1-4x cd-rw or a tdk 4x dvd+r. These both work in my thomson drive. You need to add a dummy file too or it won't read very well if at all.
