Best thing to do is to post the XBC, ABGX and IMG Burn Logs aswell to see if all is well with them.

It's horses for courses with burning, finding the right settings
I didn't save those lol but i can get the abgx.

I have been messing with settings and man my other burns have been terrible. 1600 max pi avg over 100 burned 3 very bad ones right after that decent one i posted lol.

Ill run the disc thru abgx and post that in a sec

the nice thing about XBC is that it auto creates and saves a log for you so you do not need to remember to create or save one.

with that said it should be easy for you to post your XBC log if you are "honestly" seeking help with making a backup of your retail copy

if you are striving for perfection you will need to do alot of trial and error to find out what settings work best for your setup. there is no "set in stone" answer

every set up is different, there for what works for one person may or may not work for you

Haha, who looks like a bell now. :rolleyes2:

OP. aka Mr connections. Suggest using the settings on the LightningUK thread. AKA.

FHT = Enabled
OHT = Disabled
Overspeed = Disabled
SmartBurn = Enabled.

Clear OPC and try again. The only other settings in Imgburn I have different is that I am using is the Elby I/O driver, and a 128MB buffer.

Results below from just a minute ago. Almost perfect bar the slight spike at the end. TBH I challenge you to improve on this :p

I see yours is backwards from mine meaning you 1st layer is better than your second. Is it safe to say thats just how these discs burn?
