n00b question about X3

Ok, i want to male sure that all the things ill get will be compatible, i got the 1,6 version of xbox, ill be getting the x3 from www.modchip.ca (live in canada) and a western digital 200gb 8mb cache, will this all work with the newer 1,6 version?

Yes, although you should make sure that your harddrive is lockable, so that you can use the Xbox Dashboard.

Green ring of death?

Hello,

I've obtained a free xbox which I was told has the RROD. However when I powered it up it just shows 4 green lights with no picture or sound. It just stays like that. I've tried different av cables etc. Any ideas what it could be or should I just go ahead with the pre planned rrod fix?

try switching the output from HD to SD

Try this, turn the 360 off, turn it on with the controller, as it turns on hold the Y button and the Right Trigger, this will put all audio/video settings to default.
