Hi i have a 16mb Phat jasper that i am trying to retrieve the DVD key from and clean the no DVD off line flag and return the unit to stock with a new DVD drive via RGH/JTAG as there was no DVD drive with this unit when it came to me. I am running a win 7 32 bit system. I have read loads of tuts to do this and it all looked straight forward for an electronics engineer of over 20 years exp.
But now i find myself stuck at the first post:facepalm: I have got my nand x connected up via phat QSB all solder joints clean and checked with multimeter.I have dumped the nand 6 times and compared them with no differences with nand pro 3.0 and the cool shrimp jtag tool. I can open the bin files in a hex editor and Degraded which shows me I have two bad blocks 400 found at 3ff and 8500 found at 3fe.But my main problem is that I can not open any of my bin files in the 360 flash dump tool v0.97 it just comes up with " Error Couldn't read file or this image is unsupported!"So I downloaded a clean 16mb jasper bin file just to check the program and that opened fine so now I don't trust my bin images and cannot move forward. Also when I load the Xnand Healer GUI 0.73 and click usb it just comes up with “Runtime error the system cannot find the file specified. Am I doing something really wrong here? Please help if you can.
