Dumped my NAND 3 times with 0 errors! Awesome, but now I started my xbox with the eject button after writing xell, and I'm getting no video output through component. My TV is not detecting any connection. ROL is flashing 3 lights - then it was flashing the 2 left lights and wouldn't power off until I disconnected the cable. I have the power cable, video cable, and ROL plugged in. Am I missing something?

Nice. You might be missing something. I can see, that you have soldered the JTAG qsbs on. But at the picture, it dosn't look like you connected the cables! Also, the switch on one of the qsbs must not be set to "OFF".

But that you dont get any output sounds wierd. You should be getting E79.. Is there a flashing red light at the ROL?

I actually took off the JTAG qsbs and soldered the wires directly. ROL was flashing 3 lights - then it was flashing the 2 left lights and wouldn't power off until I disconnected the cable.

You took them off? Know, that i am not talking about those, you connect your NAND-X to, but the other ones. the JTAG part. If you took them off, what did you solder instead? Sounds like you did something weird.
Btw, remember to plug in your fan (depending on the 2RRs error). Also, dont have your NAND-X connecting when powering on.

post a pic of exactly how youve got the jtag wired up. if youve removed the qsb for the jtag then you will need to solder diodes in place. if you havent done this then it will never work.

explain exactly how youve done it.

Perhaps someone else will notice something i didn't, but i cant see anything wrong, then. Are you still getting RROD at boot? Could you check the secondary errorcode, maybe? My guess would be 0001.

But of course, you did check, that you CB was exploitable, right?

Alright, so no bad blocks but looks like your console has got the RROD or it's on way to it. What's the history of this console? You might want to consider a re-flow before continuing with your JTAG project.

nice. well I picked it up from a guy who repaired it after a RROD. He's got good reviews and gave me a 90 day warranty on it, but its been turned on less than 10 times after picking it up.

Is there anything that could have happened while jtagging it?

Kind of. When xenons are taken out of their cases, they are very likely to RROD. And this time, it probably wont be fixed as easily. As manwithoutname said, reflow will do.
Or, use the warranty he gave you :D

Switching between 0020 and 0102 is very common. I smell reflowing ;).
Dont forget to use the Thanks button :)

Considering you have attempted to JTAG it your warranty from him would be probably void. I have experienced the same with few xenon's after been JTAG'ed they RROD and no way to get them back on without a re-flow.

Just send it for a professional re-flow and then continue with the JTAG once it's back and running.
