Hello,

I have the trinity motherboard and have been dumping the nand so I am all set for when the coolrunner comes out and have come accross an error while dumping the nand.

I have dumped the nand 18 times and its the exact same reading block error. I have also resoldered all the wires twice using plenty of flux etc. the soldering looks good. I have not been able to get a clean nand dump. Is there anything I can do? or shouldnt I be worried?

btw I am using the nand-x (great product!)

Many thanks in advance

Oh and I have compared all the nands in NandCompare and its saying (depending on which dumps i am comparing) 1 or 2 non-matching blocks found. I have never experienced this all the times I have dumped nands on xboxs. Cant figure it out.

If the same bad block shows in all dumps then that's fine, however if nandcompare is telling you that you've got mismatching blocks then I would recheck the soldering and specially the ground wire.

Do not proceed any further if you still got mismaching blocks, that'a my advise for you.

Thanks for the reply manwithoutname.

I have resoldered the ground wire (yellow) and all the others many times now and nothing has worked :( keep getting 1 or 2 non matching blocks on nandcompare.

Heres a few pictures of the soldering work. (taken on my iphone so not the best, i will try and find my camera when i get some time and take better ones.)

Hope that someone can spot where I am going wrong.

Many thanks!

First of all thanks for all your help. Much appreciated.

One last question.

What will happen if after the glitch hack has been done and say I wanted to flash back with the original nand dump, although this original dump has bad blocks in it, will it still work?
