Nand programming

What is it that you want to do? You don't need a NAND programmer for decorating a Christmas tree...so what is exactly your question?

You need it to read and write to the xbox 360 system memory. This is done in order to write a freeboot (hacked) image to the console so you can run unsigned code (along with other hardware required for glitching).

ok. thanks for all quick replies i want to use it with Slim proto V1 but i dont really know if i need something else than these 2 J r programmer and slim proto v1 and i can't find flash files either for the J-R programmer

This site is littered with stickies and tutorials on using the jr-programmer (NAND flasher) and proto. Please read them as they answer your question far better than us mere mortals. Happy Christmas. :smile:

J-R programmer is a nand reader.You also need J-Runner in your PC.J-R programmer flash files are in J-Runner.SLIM PROTO is already programmed, if you program it again you will damage it.

Thanks alexander_1333 so if im right now J-R programmer has flash file in itself and slim proto no touch so just flash nand with J-R programmer and im good to goo ?
