nand-x broke?

i just got my nand-x in the mail today and when i want to plug in the cable to the nand x the adaptor where it plugs in fell off i wasnt even pressing hard is this something i can fix or do i need to get a new one?

when i try holding it with my hand i see alot of FFFF and 0 errors

where did you get it from if you just got it in the post and you say you didn't force it then i'm sure it will be replace don't go messing with it because then you will not get a replacement
