nand-x broke

i recently bought the nand-x rgh edition as i broke the last one by switchin power on the xbox.
ive come to use it on a slim and its done the first dump and second dump fine with no bad blocks but said the nands didnt match.
so ive gone to dump again first one came down fine, but the second one got half way through, and then just kept gettin error reading blocks.so i try for a third time and keep getting flash config 0x00000 cannot continue, ive tried on another console and it does the exact same.

Pictures of your soldering would help alot. Chances are its in the soldering and not in the NAND-X so long as you didnt switch the console on with this unit as well.

Yeah that'll cause it too. Best to have it on a fairly unhindered power source. I have great results with my NAND-X on my personal laptop. Never once had to dump more than twice. Match every time so far... LPT was a whole different story lol.

If it's of interest, I've left my NAND-x connected to a console while powering it on more times I can remember. If won't damage either console or NAND-x PROVIDED your soldering is good.

The fact you've potentially killed 2 of these in succession tells me that your install is at fault.

I was about to say, isn't it safe to leave the programmer plugged in an powering on the set, cause i`ve done that tons of times when doing RGH2 sets and having to constantly change the Timing files and the flashes if they give problem :p
Neither safe nor recommended but I'm guilty too. :rolleyes2:
