ANSWERED nand-x connected while xbox turned on

I always disconnect my nand-x from the mobo when turning on the xbox.

I remember I have read that you have to disconnect it.

Question is, is it necessary to disconnect the nand-x when turning on the box (will it get damaged/fried?) or can I leave it attached to the coolrunner and mobo?

Best to be safe and remove it.

Why would you even want to risk it if someone said you could? Its not that hard to unplug.

I know it is not hard to unplug, since that is how I always do it... and will keep doing...
