Hey All

Just this morning I tried to RGH a Falcon but the Xbox was broken to start with so I got another to work on, because I unsoldered the QSBs they weren't in the best shape I then continued to solder them to the new Falcon but one of the points burned off!!

I'm wondering if I can use Nand-X with the bottom QSBs and somehow just wire the top part or if there was a way to use Nand-X with a full wired version and get rid of the QSbs?

U can use pin headers cables that were supplied with your nand-x. Just cut pin headers off and solder it directly to xbox motherboard. There is simple tutorial in nand-x support forum.

Thanks a lot I'll look for them now and try find a tut.

Here was an image but axee44 has been more than helpful Thank You
(Ignore the bad soldering that's not been soldered down yet it's old solder from lifting it on the broken Xbox, the red mark is the burned off point but I'm going to try a wired version and the pin wires...)

Hi I always solder the wires directly to the motherboard. I find it much easier. I had a falcon the other day that someone had messed up the qsb on top badly. So I done a direct wire to the motherboard underneath and it worked fine to my surprise lol

If you go on jrunner and look in the image tag at the nand-x x install it shows you where to solder the wqires and what colour go where :)

First thing I did after seeing that post with the resistor legs is chop up a cable and make one like that . Works awesome for doing wire installs. Cudos to the original poster. I have not used any qsb's except for POST on slim's with low loss coax since making that cable.
Save yourself a few bucks on each install.
