Hi,

My thoughts:

- i plan to get nand-x, and several pin-headers with cables for several consoles.

- then i will solder future jtag consoles for ease connect-and-dumpWrite nand-x.

Question:

- since i don't plan use nand-x only on one console and leave inside the case, HOW is add-on "glitch" for nand-x is been designed: DO I NEED for EVERY jtag glitch nand-x inside ?

Thanks.

So this "glitch add-on" for nand-x will NOT be always connected to nand-x !

So how this will be an ADD-ON for nand-x,
don't understand.
The NAND-X is needed to read/write the NAND.

The CoolRunner Add-on is the thing that is needed to run the Glitch.

That's why, you will use the NAND-X to write the glitch to the NAND. You can then remove the NAND-X.

But the CoolRunner Add-on is itself needed for the glitch to run. Therefore, it'll need to be present in the console so the glitch can run.

wait for the release and it will all become clear.

tutorials are always straight forward and clear .... but cant have a tutorial for something that cant be purchased yet.

Ok,

"nand-x ADD-ON glitch" looks like independent part from nand-x,
and if i want, for example read/write nand just with LPT connection,
i don't need actual nand-x for glitch jtag to work.

"use the NAND-X to write the glitch to the NAND" maybe you mean
use nand-x to programme glitch with new hardware compatibility like falcon ?

Anyway,

i will buy new jtag tools if it will be re-packaged like this:

- nand-x usb programmer
- "glitch" by TX
- required cables for nand-x and "glitch"

I don't need OLD jtag tools+cables from actual nand-x package.

Thanks.

The only extra thing (now) present in the original NAND-X package are the JTAG QSBs, everything else is still necessary.

So we can use the QSB's in the Nand-X package now for Trinity boards? Because if i solder the Nand-X cables in the i shall leave the cable in the case and just conect the Nand-X when required.

QSB's for Slim version are due release by TX. However whether will this be sold separately only or will be included with the NAND-X in future production is to be seen.

One thing for sure, it will be sold as a separate item for those who already own the NAND-X.
