Nand-x in Wii

Even if you can, you still need an application to read & right the flash which currently non exist. I got a feeling that the NAND-X can program things like the Ambit 256 modems range and similar devices that uses the same SPI programmer but so far it's a theory.

Since the Nand-X works with the standard NAND protocol, in theory there shouldn't be any problem reading/writing Wii's NAND. But only having hardware is not enough, you will also need software that will be able to recognize, read and write Wii's NAND.

its easy to read the wii nand and flash to it, its part of the softmod install using
bootmi to backup ya nand to sd card etc, dont need any xtra kit.

I got a korean wii with error 003. Updated by a friend to 4.3. Bootmii will not work in this case of course. I also bricked a wii with no priiloader, no bootmii, and no nand backup.

Fully bricked wii could be revived using a nand programmer by reflashing its nand or injecting a nand with bootmii installed.

So I was thinking to learn to use a nand reprogrammer and try to revive it. I was eyeing infectus2 but we could turn nand-x into a nand programmer for wii then I wont spend anymore buying infectus. I wish tx or somebody good at these things will make a software...

I'm also thinking of other uses of my nand-x since I already finished jtagging my xbox:D
so any other usage of nand-x?

according to wii nand flasher expert:

Its not compatible.

xbox is programmed over SPI bus, not direct to the chip.
I guess I need to buy the infectus :(
