hey everyone I have a quick question I purchased an already jtagged falcon and I also ordered the nand-x today my question is the guy I purchased it from said all the jtag wiring is done on the bottom of the board the jtag is working and on dash 13146 so the question is if I just solder in the QSB's on points J1D2 and J2B1.that should allow the nand-x to read/write to the nand right?

any of the 3 read methods would work. direct wire/qsb/pin headers.
thanks for that my only main concern is I will not need to move/remove any of the existing wiring correct just solder in the QSB's for the nand-x to read/write from?

I was just thinking do you jtag pro's think that since I bought the nand-x it would be better to reflash the original nand remove all the existing jtag wiring and use the jtag qsb that comes with the nand-x and reflash with xell/dashlaunch/fsd or do you think it would be better to just leave the existing wiring and only solder the nand qsb's so I can read and write the nand?

You dont need to replace the jtag wiring if its working ok....it might be a good idea to check the dvd key & cpu key (Just to make sure-people make mistakes) and redump the nand

While you have it cracked open you can check the U6T1 to make sure the efuses are protected

so pretty much leave existing wiring and just install the nand qsb's so the nand-x can read and write to the nand and he already told me he checked the efuse and it's not protected but that's to easy just bridge the solder points thanks for the reply I will just solder in the nand qsb's so I can read and write with the nand-x and leave everything the way it is and make sure I bridge the efuse points so it don't get blown
