Description of problem: I think this is more of a User/Computer problem then with the Nand-X or programs. When I plug the Nand-x in with the USB cable my Windows 7 Home box doesn't see it. I manually installed the drivers, In Device Manager I have Xecuter JR-Programmer and Xecuter Nand-X USB listed. When plugged into differnt USB ports I have the Red light lit on the Nand-x and the Red and Green lit on the CoolRunner. I've tried two different systems, XP and Windows 7, two USB cables and removed drivers and reinstalled. I'm getting lights on the Nand-X and Coolrunner so I think its with my system but I'm not sure what. Thanks in advance.

so whats the problem ? just install the drivers manually in device manager using the drivers files you can search for them , and enjoy
nand-x will not pop-up any message you have to go to Device Manager in My Computer and that's it !

NOTE: to ensure that your nand-x driver installed you will see Black & Gray NAND-X LOGO under Write Nand button in J-Runner

I am unable to program my coolrunner, I get device not found in the Jrunner window. I also don't see the Black & Grey Nand-X logo, I will try and install my drivers again.

An issue that I have run into, is that my older Nand-X needs to be updated to V3. I have a cable on order, but I have attached 2 screenshots to show you the Nand-X being recognized in J-Runner, as well as Win7 Device manager. I do not know if by not being on the latest update if it will show differently in device manager.

You cant program your CR because u didnt install the drivers YET and sure you will get device not found and u cant see the logo untill u install the drivers just go to device menu plug ur nandx and wait for a sec u will see unregonized device select update device and choose nandx drivers with ur windows version "32,64" bit and agree for installation thats it !! Thanks for the photos..My Nand-x is V3, just purchased it last month. My Windows 7 32 bit system doesn't see the Nand-x. With the nand-x connected via USB, then going to Device Manager I do not have it listed under "Other Devices" or under any other sub heading. I can right click on my Computer in Device Manager and then choose "Install Legacy Hardware" to install the drivers. Then under PRUFTECHINK USB DEVICES I have XECUTER NAND-X USB. The J-Runner program doesn't see the Nand-x. My Nand-x has the red light lit and the Coolrunner has the red and green light lit when plugged into the USB port. I've tried multiple USB cables and ports with the same results. Maybe I broke it at some point???

I had same problem in win7 64 i just reinstalled j-runner
You don't "install" J- Runner. It's a standalone app.

OP: Are you by any chance using a USB hub? Do you see the NAND-X logo in R-Runner?

Tapatalk misspelled it. Knot me.

I am on windows 10 and I am trying to manually download the drivers for my nand reader (Cool Runner Rev. C). I can't find the JR program in my device manager to manually update the drivers? Is that because I am using windows 10? or am I just derping? I checked every drop down box for it. Couldn't find it. Any help? Thanks!

Cool runner rev C isn't nand reader. It's glitch chip. Jr programmer or nandx are nand readers. You can't use rev C to read nand. Maybe that's your problem. What nand reader do you really have?
