To Summarize below for people that dont want to read my sob story....

Has it been confirmed at all that removing flags with nand-x will stop a ban (I was not on xbl yet since it happened). Is it worth the time and money to remove this flag from my system?

bah I am idiot, I took apart my xbox to update my firmware from 1.1 to the newest LT+ firmware, did the usual thought all was fine. I went to play bo with the newest patches released yesterday all applied (network cable unplugged of course for first try on run) and i instantly got disc unreadable. I just realized that when I spoofed the firmware I selected the old LT1.1 firmware AGAIN out of the wrong folder on my computer instead of the new LT+ (I recommend not updating firmware at 2am). Of course I am flagged with AP Challange on Xval. Of course my network cable has been unplugged throughout this entire process so i was not on xbl yet. Before I place my order for the NAND-X, I wanted to confirm it will work for me with the latest Dashboard update applied (one from Wednesday). I believe I read in the other post that its only the JTAG portion of the NAND-X that is kernel dependant, I just wanted to reconfirm with the experts before I order and try to get my flag cleared.

Thanks!
