Hi guys I am trying to update my coolrunner with my nand x

by the way,the coolrunner is bought from modtraders so its genuine.
before you ask:
the second thing is I didnt attach it to the motherboard,so I followed the advice beforehand and trying to program it while its off and not attached to anything or wired.
So its should be safe as the Ubergeek guide says.
have tried updating while the board was swithched to NOR and SLIM

the nand x gets power from the usb without any problems I have dumped the nand for about 3 times before that, but when I plug the coolrunner in with the nand x to coolrunner update cable the power is cut off from the nand x and lights go off.

So I can not proceed to program my coolrunner, stuck now.

Is there any chance the nand x was damaged, but it is highly unlikely because I did exactly like the guide says

Code:
Note: Many users have damaged their NAND-X by programming the CoolRunner while it's installed to the Xbox and the switch is set to NOR and/or the Xbox power is ON. We recommend that you program the CoolRunner while it is not installed to the Xbox just so that you are 100% safe. When programming the CoolRunner as a standalone unit it doesn't matter if the switch is set to PRG or NOR.

Well good to see it turned back on for you. This website certainly is top notch when it comes to support.
:)
the infamous x0002 error is on me now.Guess I will have to change the wiring on the update cable but do not have any idea of how I can fix this.

are we going to change the wiring on the white side which connects to the nand x or the black side which connects to the CR?confused there.

guess asking the modtraders to send another for me in the next order would be better.because I hate these kinda cables and have a history of ruining similar cables so I will avoid fixing I guess : (

got home today from job, plugged them all in,just like yesterday and found out one of the cables had a loose connection so pushed them all in one by one to the white connector, everything is OK now.Was my fault to think one of the xecuter products was faulty.thank you guys
