I came across a video somewhere...but I really can't remember where. But it said you don't need to solder the yellow wire that comes with the NAND-X? So just the 4 wires..

What's the dealio with that?

I have been known not to solder it into the correct place but I do ground it and make sure it is grounded

I don't use that point, but use instead a ground usually from the back of the board where its easier to solder. The initial GND point its heating pretty slow and that's why I use points that are heating faster.

You can use any ground on the motherboard, just don't leave it de-soldered otherwise you will most likely fry your NAND-X.
And you will always fry it on a friday where you need it saturday and Monday and tue and don't get the one you orded fri until tue dinner lol
