DRIVERS NAND-X not being detected by Nandpro / JTAG tool

Hay,

When i attempt to read any NAND with the new NAND-X (bought direct from china distribution with new v3 code) neither NandPro cmd or the JTAG tool are detecting the NAND-X i've installed the drivers and it appears in device manager correctly, but cant use it in these programs.

I've tried on two different computers both running windows 7 64bit

It goes:

Looking for usb interface device
Can not continue
Press any key to continue . . .

i guess you dont have power connected to youe console

just plug it in the xbox and dont turn it on it should be ok if your soldering is all ok as well

Several users have had this issue, including me.... i havent gotten it resolved
Tried on my two consoles, one jasper and one slim, same error, worked fine before on 2.0e, not after upgrading to 3.0

Unsure of whats wrong, sent back to reseller

EXACTLY UBERGEEK!

Namely while i put the driver tag, as its not even getting to the point of connecting to the NAND-X

EDIT: Just discovered i can program a cool runner chip.... So its a problem directly related to the reading/writing section

i'm sick of getting told this is down to soldering.

i've used qsb & fitted them perfectley even checked with a jewlers loup to make sure of a good solid weld,no shorts or bridgeing.tested solder points to plug that go's to nand-x all perfect, but still get "cant find usb device".

i've even desoldered the qsb's examined the board for any burnt tracks, nothing perfect as i thought in the beginning.

i've soldered wires direct to the board perfect neat job,no shorts nothing.

but still getting "cant find usb device"

its either down to nand-x units/drivers or win compatabilty issues

maybe this new usb update cable i've heard of is gonna be the answer
