Hello again all,

I have put my nand x usb wire into the pc.

I load up Jtag Tool bt Tech modz
Pick my dash
pick nand x
then it says make 2 nand dumps

press dump and it then says

Looking for usb interface device
cannot continue
press any key to cintinue

Can someone please help me again,
I have put the nand x in and installed the drivers and all has been detected

What am i doing wrong now?

Check the Xbox will still power on, if not you may have fcuked your stby_clk point, orange wire.

And you should be posting pix of your install buddy.

Its your solder joints for your nand since you flashed the coolrunner you have installed the correct drivers for the nand x. The stby_clk point would not come into play until trying to glitch the console.

Also was there power to the board?

If he has soldered the QSB's in and trashed the STBY_CLK whilst doing so then it will have everything to to with the NAND-X not being detected.

Ok here is what is happening.
The console still powers up fine and oviously the 3 lights flash after a period because there is sod all plugged in it.

The Glitch has been flashed to coolrunner and the switches on coolrunner are on phat and nor hope thats right I can just aboout read the writing.

the coolrunner has the red light on.

Nand x has a yellow and red light
and thats it
loaded j runner

click read nand and then it just says cant continue.

So there is something else up here maybe software as I cannot see the nand x being defected and I have checked all my soldering, done continuity checks and they all make a connection all wires on the back fine and nothing is out of place or shorting.

I have 3 connectors coming from the nand 2 of them going into the nand x qsb and one going into the coolrunner qsb

whats going wrong?

So nand pro says cant find device
j runner can do anything
another program is asking me install IO thingy .dll

And nothing seems to be happening anywhere..
Is the coolrunner suppose to be doing something now its flashed? or just sit on a red light?

and are the nand x light just suppose to stay on there doing nothing?

Thanks guys

I have read nands with that resister missing so it would have nothing to do with it.

Subplay follow the prepare your environment section in this tutorial then let me know if that fixes it.

No I got it, the Nand X QSB was still to try jointed. LOL But still Thankyou everyone for the support I have learned alot, and gained a few programs from this.

Oh just one last thing for now.
Im dumping my nand now and upto so far its perfect, then all of a sudden after so long it just goes ERROR: reading block 3FE and so on, is this normal?

Is there a batch of blocks it does not read because it does not need to read them ?

Glad its sorted bro, and I'm glad it wasnt my suggestion, that would have been a pita to fix. I wouldn't worry about any bad blocks unless they're in the first 50, Rawflash 4 will look after them or you.
