Attempting to RGH a slim.

All was well, I updated, dumped the nand twice, then got interrupted. I left my house, came back, decided to dump the nand again for good measure, both Jtag Tool and a direct cmd with NandPro result in no usb interface found.

I checked my device manager. Nand-X now shows as an unknown device. I uninstalled the drivers, re-installed them. Re-flashed with flashmagic, same result.

Running on Win7 x64.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: I just saw the larger thread about the same issue, I did not want to hijack the thread, as my issue appears to be strictly computer/driver related.

Upon attempting to program the coolrunner, i get
c:\nandpro3>NandPro xsvf: Trinity.xsvf
NandPro v3.0a by Tiros

Looking for usb interface device
No device found
Error: Can not continue!

Update.

I recently used my Nand-X on another computer, the console in question worked like a charm. RGH was successful without any hassle.

So, I'm certainly dealing with a driver issue on my own machine.

Any tips?

Have you tried manually adding the driver to the nandx?
Try this:

  • Right click the unknown device
  • "Browse my computer for driver software"
  • Browse to the folder with the x64 drivers for NANDX
  • Check off "Include Subfolders"
  • Then press Next
Does it install the device? Or does this fail as well?

Thanks for the reply!

I have indeed done that. It installs with an error. Unfortunately, I am not at my computer to get the specific error.

The error is in regards to some sort of compatibility error.

I will try to get the error as soon as I can.

Again, thank you.
