Nand-X problem

Hi, I finished installing my coolrunner/nand-x to my slim and set up to read/dump the nand and I got this-

NandPro v2.0b by Tiros

Looking for usb interface device
Incompatible ARM hardware for this version of NandPro!
Can not continue

After searching around it seemed the cimmon consensus of opinion was that I had a v2 nand-x but I know for a fact I haven't as apart from anything else it says so on the box and I've used it before.
Despite that I decided that as I don't have the means to prog the nand-x yet I would download nandpro2 and try it just in case but I still get this-

Does this mean my Nand-x is kaput
Oh BTW, both the orange and the red LED's lit on both tries. Also, in device manager it says it is functioning ok.
I'm going to order the USB update cable to see if I can re prog it with v3 but I wondered if anyone had come across this before or knows what is wrong.

I've had the same problem with mine before I ordered the update cable as well.
During the mean time the only version that worked for me was nandpro20b.
Still confused as to why it just stopped on me as I was using mine previously with nandpro3 like yourself and one day just stopped.

It happens to mass production product which is totally normal. Try the reset button other wise consult with the seller for replacement. But most importantly make sure you have v3 code

U MUST UPDATE NANDX TO ARM V3(NANDPRO V3)
BUY A USB UPDATE CABLE TO DO THIS BEACUSE ITS VERY EASY..

You are using the wrong Nandpro program

Where ever you got the program from, it is the wrong version if you are actually using a v3 Nand X

it should come up with

NandPro v3.0a by Tiros

Yours is coming up with

NandPro v2.0b by Tiros

Go here and download the correct version

Elite-yes I def. have/had v3 code but I have a feeling that it has somehow been deleted or reset to factory settings or something, thanks anyway

ARUNCREATIONS - either you didn't read all or didn't understand my post, it is a v3, I've used it before. AND THERE'S NO NEED TO SHOUT

No it doesn't refer to the drivers. Not in that sense anyway, although they are different

You cannot use Nandpro V2 (The program) with a Nand X V3 and vice versa.

As seen on my computer

Version 2 of nand pro requires Nand X v2

Version 3 of nand pro requires nand x v3

1.do u have this file "ArmV3.hex"inside nandpro3 folder ?

2. have u updated ur nandx from v2 to v3

Install Nand-X Windows Driver

If for any reason the driver install fails with the error message 'Driver is not intended for this platform', PTLIBUSB0.SYS in C:\Windows\system32\drivers\ needs to be deleted or renamed and the driver install attempted again.

Updating Nand-X
The Nand-X needs the v3 code update so it works with Nandpro 3.0 and the Coolrunner

(If you get an error 'Incompatible ARM hardware for this version of NandPro!' when trying to read the Nand, the Nand-X still has v2 code.)

if u have updated nandx to v3..this will never come

so do a fresh nandx v3 update and have a fresh nandpro3 and try again..Cheers
