So, first post and all. I have a xenon motherboard that I've jtagged, all that went well and everything. This motherboard was recovered from 0102 RROD. It started acting up on me again and sometimes throwing out the 0102. I need to reflow the GPU again. I'm trying to determine if I need to remove the JTAG QSB before reflowing the GPU, or if they will withstand the heat.
I'm not really worried about the boards themselves being damaged, or even the solder melting in that area. I am worried about the plastic connectors though. I just need to know what the max thermal tolerance of them is so that I can make a decision to leave or remove them. I've had a lot of problems from reflowing boards with the blue buttons. They like to melt, the black ones don't. Just tyring to figure out what temperature these plastic connectors would fail at.
Thanks for any help.
