I just had a question now it might sound stupid but no question should go unanswered so.......Dose the Xbox 360 have to be on when i am getting my NAND from the console...:facepalm:

no the console should have no power connected
i copied this from NANDX installation tutorial "When using reading/writing the NAND ensure you have Xbox power cable plugged in but DO NOT power the Xbox on"
