NAND-X question

Hi,

I haven't been on this site for a long time [personal issues, wife flipping out, etc], haven't kept up with the scene and whatnot and as so I don't have a clue as to the latest TX tools available for JTAG.

Last time I messed with my Xbox360 was towards the 3rd quarter of 2011, so bare with me please :(

I need to know if the NAND-X is still a viable option for me to upgrade my JTAG, and if it is, where can I get replacement cables [wife packed all my crap and tossed it in the garage, can't find them]?

If it is not a viable option, please help a brother out and point me in the direction on what to procure.

Thanks a lot for your time, and keep up the good work as always guys.

Thanks for the reply; thing is I'm missing the cables [I have the soldered parts in my Xbox360, and the programmer]. I just checked XConsoles.com and I didn't find them for sale.
Understood, however as stated you don't need this if you're just updating it.

You can use Xell to update. There's no need to use a NAND-X. There's always the possibility of Xell freaking out and not writing correctly but personally I've never had that problem. Worst case is if that does happen then you'll have to buy a new NAND-X or JR Programmer and flash.

You can always use a program like flash360, or nandflasher from swizzy.. just google either of them. Sometimes rawflash can be a pain, but its still a good alternative to a nandx or jrp if you dont have the wires on hand.
